I bought 4 BOXES OF CEREAL FOR $0.86!!! Total-- not each. just over 21 cents each. I doubt I can do it again, but everything worked out nicely this time using my digital coupons on my Smiths Rewards card, manufacturers coupons, and a Smith's coupon that was mailed to me.
Here's my formula:
Sale price for GM cereals:
$1.99
You know those coupons that Smiths sends you every quarter with your Rewards coupon? I had one that was
$3 off 4 boxes of cereal.
I decided to see if I could use
two $1 off 2 General Mills cereal (from Sunday's paper) with it, and I could!
so that makes $5 off in coupons but wait! add my digital coupons:
$0.55 off 1 box Honey Nut Cheerios
$0.55 off 1 box Cinnamon Toast Crunch
$1 off 2 boxes Chex
That makes
$7.10 in coupons
8 boxes @ $1.99 ea =
$7.96
minus coupons =
$0.86 = 21.5 cents each
So that is my brag for the week!!
yes, couponing takes time, but when I can get cereal for under a quarter . . .
