About SAVING TODAY, PREPARING TOMORROW

I am a stay-at-home Mom of 5.  I have to admit one of my least favorite jobs is grocery shopping.  I do, however like planning the shopping when I know I am going to get some great deals.

Last Saturday I spent $31 at Safeway and here are some of the items I bought:
25 boxes of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, 3 boxes Kelloggs PopTarts, 15 Yoplait yogurts, 1 box Hostess Ding Dongs, Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough.

Tuesday evening I went to Walgreens and spent just over $12 on two canisters of Clorox wipes, 50 oz liquid Tide, Jergens 8 pack of bar soap, , a Colgate toothbrush, and a package of candy. And I left with a coupon for $2 off my next purchase.

Finding the sales and teaming sales up with coupons can save you a lot of money on groceries and help you add to your family home storage economically. Thus SAVING TODAY, PREPARING FOR TOMORROW.  You should be able to add to your home storage with no increase in your monthly budget.  And it can be fun and personally rewarding!

Instead of spending your time pouring over the grocery ads and coupons, I will do the work for you and show you the ‘money’ so to say.  There are plenty of websites out there to help you find the big sales and the great deals. However, I haven’t found one for the Farmington and Four Corners area, or New Mexico, so I want to share local deals and ads, as well as bring you the best from other websites.

But this site is not just for the grocery ads and coupons--that is only a small part of it.  This site is dedicated to helping you with your family home storage, with the ultimate goal to obtain a year's supply of food and other personal needs.

There will be information, ideas and tips, tools, and links.  And I want to hear from you!  Please comment and share any deals or tips or what-have-you.

Have fun saving money.  Leave the groceries on the table and when your honey comes home say "Look, I bought all of this for only _____!"  Feel the satisfaction of stocking up that pantry and storage room.  Splurge on that box of cupcakes, because not only is it a great deal, but you can afford it!  Think of it as your part-time job.  You aren't necessarily making money, but you are saving it, and a dollar saved is a dollar earned!
