Here is blip from Nicole at Being Frugal is Fabulous. (Why should I rewrite all the great stuff that is already out there?) thanks Nicole.
Clipping coupons can be very overwhelming and time consuming.
So how do you make coupon clipping a rewarding experience? My best advice is to start small. At the time that I started, I didn’t get the newspaper, so I was limited to coupons I printed off of the internet. Don’t feel like you need to get 6 copies of the newspaper, clip every coupon and then use every single one.
Another tip to keeping it small is to start at just one store. I started at Walgreens. I figured out how to get the best deals there, and kept shopping at my other stores the same way that I always had. Don’t feel like you have to try and get every good deal in town, or you will be totally overwhelmed.
Keep it simple and do what works for you. Don’t expect to be able to do it all at once.
