Things are a little scary today. Natural disasters like the recent earthquakes and heavy snowstorms, as well the economy woes, and all that is going on with government spending and national debt, are making me feel an urgency to get my supply of food and family needs taken care of.
At Food Storage Made Easy they have a great tool for calculating your what you will need for 3 months. They have made a 3 Month Supply Worksheet to help you plan and buy for three months worth of meals and snacks.
You type in your meal, what items you need for it, and it tallies up all the groceries you need to buy. You need Microsoft Excel. I challenge you to fill this worksheet out and then strive to fill your pantry and storeroom with the items needed to last you for three months. And also other personal items like soap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. Go to foodstoragemadeeasy.net today and download and save the worksheet, which you will find under "tools".
